When you request early access, we collect:
We use this to run the early-access list: to send you the confirmation email, to invite you to the beta, and to send occasional product and launch updates until Descanto is generally available. We do not sell your data, and we do not enrich it from other sources.
We process your email on the basis of your consent (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by signing up and clicking the confirmation link — we only email the address once to ask for that confirmation, and if you don't confirm, you are not added to the list. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to hello@descanto.com.
The list is stored with Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), our email service provider, acting as our processor in the United States. That transfer is safeguarded by Resend's certification under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses in our agreement with them. Our website is hosted on Vercel, which collects cookieless, aggregated analytics.
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or until the early-access programme ends and the list is migrated or deleted, whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are pruned periodically.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to or ask us to restrict processing. Email hello@descanto.com and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email the list before the change takes effect. The latest version always lives at this URL.
